Constantinou Winery was founded in 1992 by Costas Constantinou, an ambitious young businessman born in Pera Pedi village, located on the outskirts of Limassol District in Cyprus. The winery initially started out with the production of liqueurs, with the first product being the Orange Liqueur “Orali” that is made from ripe oranges and has the ability to give fresh aromas and tastes. Constantinou later on produced the Coffee Liqueur which was a huge success amongst tourist and locals and is still being sold today.
The business was later known as “Orali” after the first liqueur produced and has gained a lot of popularity.

COSTAS CONSTANTINOU
General Director – OwnerA self-taught winemaker with more than 20 years of experience. His passion for agriculture started years ago when he was teenager. His parents owned vineyards which was his daily occupation. He believes that for the wine to be successful, it needs to be produced carefully in the vineyard and that the most important and strong weapon for a successful winemaker is good quality of grapes.

PANAGIOTIS CONSTANTINOU
Oenologist - ViticulturistPanagiotis holds a bachelor’s degree in Viticulture and Oenology and WSET Level 2 award. He joined the family business in 2019 and brought fresh ideas to the table and is focused on bringing innovative technologies for the future of the winery. His aim is to prove that the Cyprus wine can stand on the global market competing wines from well-known, grape-growing and winemaking countries.

GEORGE IOAKIM
SalesmanGeorge is a member of winery's team for more than a decade since 2012. He has excellent communication skills and his responsibilities are the sales of the winery. Delivering and Meeting customers all over the island consider as important as the winemaking part.

THE ORIGIN OF OUR WINES
PGI indications can be identified on every single label of our wines which certificates the geographical indication of the grapes producing a specific wine of ours. 100 % of the grapes come from Limassol and the wine is been produced at Pera Pedi region.
WHERE CAN WE TASTE YOUR WINES?
The winery offers a wine tasting and tour experience in which you have the chance to see the production areas and taste our wines. You will have the chance to meet the winemakers in person, ask about the wine production and gain some knowledge on the product.
HOW MANY LABELS DO YOU PRODUCE?
The winery produces 10 different labels at the moment including still and sparkling wines made from indigenous international varieties.
WHAT GRAPE VARIETIES DO YOU USE?
Xynisteri of course is the big player of the winery from which Ayioklima dry, Ayioklima medium dry, Xynisteri Sparkling wine and Rose Sparkling wine are been produced. We work with some international varieties such as Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon which varieties produce the single varietal aged wines of the winery – Shiraz Constantinou and – Cabernet Sauvignon Constantinou. Grenache and Mattaro support the early release red wine of the winery – The velvet which is a blend of Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache and Mattaro. The famous blend of Grenache and Shiraz produces the Rose wine of the winery – Levanda.
